Mohammad Mohammadi, a deputy with the Social Security Organization of Iran, announced on Sunday that the agreement covers a range of services and benefits, including retirement pension, disability benefits, expenses for funeral and burial, medical services, pregnancy and illness, and occupational diseases. These services and benefits are based on the aggregation of insurance records in either of the two countries.
The social security agreement between Iran and Turkiye was ratified by the parliaments of both nations and the two sides signed the executive arrangements of the agreement on July 19, 2022.
